Getting Started:

To invite the bot to your Slack channel, simply use the command /invite @Unleash.

🤖 What Does the Bot Do?

The Unleash Bot for Slack actively monitors channels to identify any questions that users are asking. It attempts to answer these questions using the data sources that the admin has connected to it via the Unleash Assistant for Slack. If a relevant answer is found, the bot will provide it along with useful resources for reference.

Visit the Slack Assistant page in Unleash to configure the settings for each channel bot.

Setting the Data Sources:

After inviting the bot, a dedicated section will be created within the Assistants tab in Unleash. Here, you have complete control over managing the settings and data sources specific to the channel.

• By default, the Unleash bot will gather data from previous threads in the channel to answer repeat questions with pre-specified answers. You can toggle this feature on and off in the assistants tab.
• When this is toggled on the bot can read files attached to the selected channel and use these documents as an additional data source.
• Additionally, you can add relevant Wikis within Unleash that you want the bot to search through for answers.
• You can also select the apps and resource types the bot will search through to provide answers. By narrowing down the scope of filters, the quality of answers improves.
